The most important aspect in police work is humaneness. I am glad that Taimis and Arvos project carries this same value. Arvo has already been on the force for 30 years. During that time he has been an example to many colleagues as a special preparation senior instructor and has maintained the police sports honor outside work. With the Fin Est Friendship Rowing Arvo can be an example to co-workers, as well as to the general public. The police cooperation between Estonia and Finland is and has always been very close, but crossing the Gulf of Finland will celebrate and personify the friendship between the two nations. I hope that the Gulf of Finland is humane toward Taimi and Arvo. We wish them smooth waters!
